It's been awhile since I've had a good before and after to put up here! I bought this vintage sewing chair at the Goodwill for $5.25. Its seat lifts up and there's a secret compartment underneath. It was in good shape to start with, just not my style of fabric. This was my first reupholstery attempt.... I think Im in love with my staple gun.

ReplyDeleteIt's very beautiful!!! You did SUCH a good job centering the pattern. Did you take off the old fabric or just cover it? Was it pretty easy?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I took off the old fabric to use as a pattern to cut out the new fabric. The bottom of the chair was fairly simple because I was able to take it completely off. The back was a little more difficult because there was no way to really take it apart. All in all it was a fun (and just a little frustrating) first project :)
